What if my card gets declined mid-job?
It can't — we place a hold on your card the moment you book, before a provider is ever sent out. No one shows up only to find out payment fails.
Can I cancel a request?
Yes, any time before the job's done. Cancel within a few minutes of booking and it's free; after that, a small fee applies since your provider may already be on the way.
Who are the providers?
Every provider's ID and experience is reviewed by our team before they're approved to take jobs, and every completed job leaves a public rating.
Is my payment information safe?
Payments run through Stripe — Afterhand never stores your card number. Funds are held, not charged, until the job is actually finished.
