Afterhand connects customers with independent local providers for on-demand services. Afterhand facilitates the booking and payment; it is not the employer of any provider.
Providers set their own availability and rates and choose which requests to accept. They are not Afterhand employees.
Customers are charged based on actual time worked, with a one-hour minimum. Afterhand retains a 15% platform fee from each completed job.
Where applicable law grants a withdrawal period for services purchased online, you may waive it to allow service to begin immediately — this choice is presented at booking.
